Rusty Garrett here with the weekend outlook: Saturday, rain stays with us, but should taper off by Sunday, the drier of the two days.
CORPUS CHRISTI (September 25, 2012)—Police in Corpus Christi found a 14-year-old girl at the wheel of a station wagon they stopped at a driver’s license checkpoint, and that wasn’t all.
Officers also caught the scent of burning marijuana in the car and a search turned up some pot in the pocket of the 12-year-old boy who was sitting in the front passenger’s seat, a police statement said.
The boy, who had been reported as a runaway, was taken to the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
The driver, along with an 8-year-old girl who was in the backseat, were delivered to their mother and cited for violating curfew.
