Police Tight-Lipped About Discovery Of Woman's Body In Rural Texas

WICHITA FALLS (October 23, 2012)—Wichita Falls police aren't saying much about a woman who was found dead in rural North Texas nearly three years after she was reported missing.

Authorities in Wichita Falls continue to investigate the death of Danielle Hill Alvarado, 27, whose body was found last week and say they now consider the death a homicide.

Police Chief Manuel Borrego told the Wichita Falls Times Record he can't say how Alvarado was injured or may have died and also declined to name any suspects.

Alvarado's body was found in a shallow grave near a park in a remote area.

It was exhumed and sent to the Tarrant County medical examiner in Fort Worth.
