KILLEEN (August 7, 2012)--Officers used a stun gun late Tuesday morning to control a teenager who led them on a short foot chase through a neighborhood in northeast Killeen.
At around 11 a.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to an address on Tucker Drive after a woman called 911 and told the operator she "needed help."
While en route to the call, officers checked the address and found they had been sent there several times on domestic issues.
As officers got to the address, one of them saw a suspect they recognized from earlier incidents and attempted to talk to him, but he ran.
Officers gave chase and subdued him in an apartment complex parking lot after using the stun gun.
Darnell Luna, 19, was taken to the Bell County Jail after officers discovered he was named in five warrants, including a misdemeanor warrant for theft, three traffic warrants and a warrant for probation revocation for unlawful restraint.
