Police Look For Two Men After Local Store Robbed At Gunpoint

TEMPLE (June 20, 2012)—Police were looking for two men Wednesday after the early morning robbery of the GK Mart convenience store at 1405 West Avenue M in Temple.

The clerk told officers two men whose faces were covered walked into the store just after midnight Wednesday morning.

One displayed a handgun and then the men demanded money.

They escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both men were black, police said.

One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gloves.

The other was wearing a black shirt, black pants and gloves.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500.
