Police Investigate Another Gunpoint Robbery

TEMPLE (January 10, 2012)—The streak of robberies continues in the New Year in Temple where police were looking for a suspect Tuesday after an armed holdup in the parking lot of MHMR Services in the 300 block of South 22nd Street.

The victim told officers he was leaving work and walking to his car when a man holding a gun approached him and demanded that he empty his pockets.

The man left empty handed, running to the north and west.

The robber was either Hispanic or a light-skinned black who stood about 5-5 and had a heavy build.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a face covering and dark brown of black pants.

Investigators are determine if the robbery is linked to several others that have occurred this month and are asking anyone with information to call the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500.
