LAKE SOMERVILLE (February 26, 2013)—An elderly man died early Tuesday in a fire in the RV in which he was living near Lake Somerville south of Caldwell.
Rocky Creek Fire Chief Tim Mantey told KBTX-TV in Bryan firefighters responded at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday after witnesses saw flames coming from the RV.
The Rocky Creek, Gay Hill and Prairie Hill Fire Departments all responded and spent more than three hours at the scene.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
