Reward For Fugitive Texas Gang Member Increased To $20,000

AUSTIN (March 1, 2013)--The reward for information leading to the arrest of fugitive gang member Jose Angel Cabral, 58, has been increased to $20,000, the Texas Department of Public Safety said Friday.

Cabral is a member of the Barrio Azteca gang and has an extensive criminal history that includes robbery, burglary, auto theft, resisting arrest, escape and drug charges.

He’s wanted for a parole violation and for burglary.

He’s been a fugitive since 2009 and uses 21 aliases, the DPS said.

Cabral is 5-foot-7, weighs about 175 pounds and has tattoos on his abdomen, chest, right arm and back and a scar on his left wrist.
