FORT HOOD (March 6, 2013)--The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in an attempted child abduction in February at Fort Hood.

Authorities released a sketch of the man they’re seeking who’s black, in his late 40s or early 50s, about 5-foot-10 with an average build and possibly a tattoo on the right side of his head.

The man was driving a newer model four-door sedan that may have been a Mercedes-Benz.

The attempted abduction occurred on Feb. 15 in the Kouma Village/Liberty Village area on post, but further details weren’t released.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Fort Hood CID office at (254) 287-2722 or (254) 715-6996 or Fort Hood military police at (254) 287-4001.
