Rollover On Central Texas Interstate Leaves 1 Dead, 6 Hurt

CORSICANA (February 2, 2013)--One person was killed and at least six others were hurt Saturday morning in a one-vehicle rollover wreck on Interstate 45 near Corsicana.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said an SUV that was headed north on the interstate about 60 miles south of Dallas and rolled seven times just after 8 a.m. Saturday, evidently after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Three of the seven people inside the vehicle were ejected.

Four of the injured were taken to hospitals by helicopter and ground ambulances took two others to Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana.

The names of the victims weren’t immediately released.
