RAYMONDVILLE (November 21, 2012)--Four people were killed and four others were hurt in an SUV rollover in South Texas, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.

The accident happened at around 1 a.m. Tuesday about 10 miles north of Raymondville on southbound U.S. 77.

DPS Sgt. Johnny Hernandez said the vehicle went off the road, the driver over-corrected and the SUV rolled several times.

The four people who died were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the truck.

The accident killed Patricia Castro, 30, of Mercedes, Jason Anthony Mayhood, 35, of Brownsville, Enrique Rodriguez, 20, of Edcouch and Sanricardo Ramirez, 47, of Harlingen.

Officials say a 3-year-old girl and a man were hospitalized.

The driver and another man were treated and released.
