HOUSTON (January 25, 2013)--A second man was arrested early Friday in a shooting at a Houston-area community college that left three people wounded.
Trey Foster, 22, was captured early Friday in the Dallas suburb of Plano, 250 miles north of Houston, Harris County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Christina Garza said.
Garza said officers escorted Foster back to Houston where he’s held in the Harris County Jail.
Foster faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Tuesday's shooting on the Lone Star College campus 20 miles north of downtown Houston.
Carlton Berry, who was wounded in the incident, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Berry faces a court hearing Wednesday.
Authorities say they are trying to determine his role in the shooting.
According to a probable cause affidavit, one of the three people who were wounded, Jody Neal, told investigators that a man later identified as Foster shot him Tuesday after the two bumped into each other and argued on the campus of Lonestar College 20 miles north of downtown Houston.
The third person wounded in the shooting was a maintenance man who got caught in the crossfire.
Authorities say at least 10 shots were fired.
