WACO (May 22, 2013)--A Waco security guard was slashed with a sharp object by a man he confronted in a nursing home parking lot early Wednesday morning.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said at around 1 a.m. Wednesday the guard was patrolling at the Woodland Springs Nursing Center at 1010 Dallas St. when he spotted a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
As the guard approached the vehicle to investigate, he was confronted by a man and the two began to scuffle.
During the altercation, Swanton said, the guard was slashed with some type of sharp object.
Swanton said the guard did not require medical attention.
No one has been arrested, Swanton said.
