Series Of Crashes On Local Highway Sends 2 Children To Local Hospital

KILLEEN (March 2, 2013)—A series of crashes involving a total of 10 vehicles Friday night on U.S. Highway 190 in Killeen sent two children to a local hospital.

The first crash happened on eastbound Highway 190 just before the Fort Hood Street exit.

The second, which involved three vehicles, happened a short time later on the westbound side of the highway, opposite the first accident scene.

And the third, which also involved three vehicles, happened on westbound Highway 190 just before the second pileup.

The two children injured in the accident were taken to Metroplex Hospital.

Their injuries were minor.

No further details were immediately available.
