WEST (April 8, 2014) A funeral service is scheduled Friday for Caitlyn Reed-Goates, 21, of West, who was found shot to death on Saturday in her home on Tokio Loop.

A ruling in the death was pending Tuesday.

Deputies did recover a weapon at the scene, but they would not say if it was found in proximity to the woman's body.

"We're looking at all angles and trying not to have a closed mind," McLennan County Chief Deputy Matt Cawthon said Monday.

The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of West.

Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West.

Reed-Goates was a 2010 graduate of West High School.

She’s survived by her husband and two sons.
