HOUSTON (May 4, 2014) Deputies were looking Sunday for a gunman who opened fire at an after-prom party in suburban Houston, sending four teenagers to hospitals.
The shooting happened at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at a horse barn about 14 miles northwest of downtown Houston, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.
A witness told deputies that a person fired into the crowd after he and a group of friends were asked to leave, the sheriff’s office said.
Two of the wounded teenagers were taken by ambulance to a hospital, while two others arrived in private cars.
All four are expected to recover, sheriff’s officials said.
