Shooting At Suburban Texas Restaurant Linked To Ex-Worker

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (October 10, 2012)—A shooting that left one man dead and another wounded Tuesday at a Chinese restaurant in North Richland Hills evidently involved a former employee, police said Wednesday.

Investigators were working Wednesday to determine whether a seriously injured man found outside a burning car is the ex-worker who fired the shots.

Investigator Keith Bauman said Tuesday afternoon's attack evidently involved workplace violence, but he did not elaborate.

Bauman declined to release the names of the slain man, the wounded survivor, or the injured person discovered Tuesday night near the burning car.

The conditions of the two hospitalized men haven't been released.

Bauman said police have information connecting the burned vehicle to the person of interest sought in the shooting.

Further details haven't been made public.
