Shooting At Texas Teen’s Birthday Party Leaves One Dead

SAN ANTONIO (December 8, 2012)—Gunfire erupted early Saturday morning at a teenager’s birthday party just south of San Antonio leaving one person dead and three others wounded.

Sheriff's deputies told tell the San Antonio Express-News the shootings happened shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday as a man tried to break up a fight involving two women.

Another man who may be the boyfriend of one of the women produced a gun and shot and killed the man who was trying to break up the fight.

Bexar Sheriff's Sgt. Raymond Pollard said the gunman fired again toward the house, hitting a 13-year-old girl in the head and another person in the shoulder.

A third injured person was hit in the head with the weapon.

The names of the victims weren’t immediately released.

Authorities were searching for the gunman Saturday.
