SUGAR LAND (May 5, 2014) A Sugar Land area man and his wife died and their children were injured in a shooting that evidently occurred during a domestic dispute at their home.
The victims were found Monday morning, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said.
Spokesman Bob Haenel says no suspects are being sought.
Investigators are trying to determine if the shootings were a murder-suicide.
Haenel says the couple's wounded 11-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter were taken to a Houston hospital.
They both underwent surgery and were in stable condition, officials said.
The15-year-old managed to call 911 despite suffering a gunshot wound, Haenel said.
The family has no record of domestic violence, the sheriff’s office said.
