Shooting Outside Texas Tire Store Leaves One Dead, 3 Injured

DALLAS (May 22, 2014) One person was killed and three others were wounded when a man with a rifle opened fire outside a tire store Wednesday night in Dallas.

The shootings evidently stemmed from an argument, police said.

Police didn’t immediately say whether anyone was in custody.

William Hill, 29, of Dallas, died at the scene of the shooting.

Witnesses told officers that a man with a rifle chased Hill before shooting him several times, police said.

Three other people were grazed by gunfire and suffered wounds that weren’t believed to be life threatening.

One person was treated at the scene and the other two were transported to a hospital.
