KILLEEN (October 12, 2012) - Police are searching for suspects after a shooting in the 3200 block of Hereford Lane in Killeen.
Authorities said a man was found shot in the downstairs portion of an apartment just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
The mans name and age were not immediately available.
Killeen Police Department spokeswoman Carroll Smith said a couple of people were in the upstairs portion of the apartment at the time of the shooting.
Bell County Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke was called to the scene and pronounced the man dead at 11:35 p.m.
No one is in custody at this time.
It was the second shooting since June in the area.
On June 5, David Kentrell Smith was killed in his home on Barcelona Drive.
