CORPUS CHRISTI (February 17, 2014) Two young girls were killed when bullets tore into a house during a late-night attack in Corpus Christi.
Police identified the victims Monday as 6-year-old Nevaeh Oliva and 2-year-old Lilly Anna Valent.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the shooting, Corpus Christi police Capt. Michael Alanis said Monday.
Police are trying to determine a motive and whether the incident at around 11:15 p.m. Sunday was a drive-by shooting.
Alanis had no information on whether the victims were related or why they were in the home.
He said the girl's father was at the home, along with several other relatives, during the shootings.
Police didn't immediately say whether the children were in the same room or asleep when they were shot.
Both children were pronounced dead at hospitals.
