HOUSTON (July 5, 2014) A man opened fire just before 2 a.m. Saturday on a crowd of several thousand people in an arena at the Houston Caribbean Festival.
Four men were struck.
The gunfire sparked a panic and as people fled, two women were injured, police said.
The shooting victims were taken to hospitals, and one man was in critical condition, police said.
No arrests have been made.
Police are calling for people with information to come forward.
Off-duty officers were at the festival, but they were on the perimeter of the arena.
