HOUSTON (September 18, 2012)—Potential property buyers have found a human skull at an abandoned apartment complex in Houston, police say.
The buyers found the skull Monday in the courtyard of the complex and called police.
A search of the property turned up more parts of a skeleton.
Autopsy results are pending, but police said Tuesday that the remains are believed to be of an adult female.
Police did not immediately say whether investigators have leads on the identity of the woman.
