KILLEEN (July 29, 2014) Jamie Dale Ryan Nichols, 19, was in the Bell County Jail Tuesday charged in connection with an attack in Killeen in which a man was stabbed twice.

Officers were looking Tuesday for a second man involved in the incident.

Officers were sent at around 12:30 a.m. Monday to a home in the 300 block of East Elms Road where they found a 26-year-old man who had been stabbed at least twice in the left side of his abdomen.

The victim, who was identified as Evan Hill, was taken by ambulance to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.

Witnesses said that Nichols and Hill were involved in an argument that became physical and that Nichols and the second man jumped Hill and were fighting in the street, according to an arrest affidavit.

The second man stabbed Hill twice with a knife and then fled, the affidavit said.

Nichols was arrested at the scene.
