Student Struck After Getting Off Local Campus Shuttle

A woman who was struck by a small SUV late Wednesday morning after she got off of a campus shuttle was taken to a local hospital.

WACO (March 19, 2014) A small SUV struck a Baylor student after she got off of a campus shuttle bus late Wednesday morning on her way to class.

The coed, whose name wasn’t immediately released, suffered cuts, abrasions and a possible fracture, and was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.

Her injuries were not life threatening, authorities said.

The woman got off the shuttle bus at a stop at South 4th Street and Daughtrey Avenue.

A Honda CRV driven by a Baylor student struck her as she crossed 4th street, police said.
