DESOTO (March 20, 2013)--A suburban Dallas couple whose bodies were found in a house died in what evidently was a murder-suicide on the day their divorce became final.
DeSoto police received a 911 report Tuesday night about a break-in at a house and minutes later discovered the bodies.
Police Capt. Ron Smith did not immediately release names of the victims, but said that officials believe their divorce was finalized Tuesday.
Investigators said it appears the man shot the woman to death before taking his own life at the home of one of her relatives.
Further details were not immediately available Wednesday.
