EDINBURG (April 11, 2014) Authorities were looking for one or two men Friday after an Edinburg police officer was shot repeatedly when a domestic disturbance turned violent.
The unidentified officer was in a hospital Friday, after suffering wounds to his legs.
Police spokesman Lt. Oscar Trevino says the shooting happened late Thursday night after the officer responded to a call.
He subsequently radioed to dispatchers to report he'd been shot.
