TEMPLE (December 18, 2012)--The Fort Hood Bomb Squad gave the all clear at Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport in Temple around 7:45 p.m. after it was evacuated late Tuesday afternoon.

The airport was evacuated after workers in the AMCOM building found an object they did not recognize.

Temple Fire and Rescue units responded to the airport just before 3:50 p.m. in response to the report.

The Fort Hood Bomb Squad was called to the airport and arrived just before 6 p.m.

A few dozen employees were evacuated while crews worked on the scene.

Crews now say the object found appears to be something left behind by a subcontractor.

The building is on airport property, but the evacuation did not impact air travel.
