CORSICANA (August 13, 2014) A 14-year-old boy who ran away on July 28 from his aunt’s home in Corsicana evidently lived for two days undetected in a Walmart store, police said Wednesday.
Employees of the store in Corsicana found the boy two days later.
They also found two living areas he had created behind boxes along the store’s aisles, police said.
The boy helped himself to food and drinks and evidently changed clothes periodically to avoid detection.
The teenager, who lives in Rice and was visiting his aunt, has a history of running away and often hides in abandoned homes and businesses, police said.
