FORT WORTH, Texas (July 1, 2012)—Fort Worth police were looking for leads Sunday after Claudia Hidic, 17, was found shot to death near the back door of a home.
She was shot in the head, the Tarrant County medical examiner's office said.
He older sister, Samira Hidic, says the family doesn't know what happened but they are grieving for the teen whom she described as "bighearted and beautiful."
The younger Hidic had recently completed her junior year at Trinity High School in Euless.
The man who lives at the house called 911 after he found Hidic's body Thursday night.
He told police he did not know her.
Police say the body was facedown near the back door, which appeared to have been kicked in.
