SAN ANTONIO (October 8, 2013)--First responders in San Antonio who answered a report about a possible drowning found a baby's body wrapped in wet blankets and in his crib.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office says a determination of the cause of the infant’s death was pending Tuesday.
The boy was identified as 9-month-old Michael Sanchez.
His body was discovered Sunday night by someone in the home who called 911, authorities said.
No charges have been filed.
Further details on the caller weren't immediately released.
Police are investigating whether the infant’s mother visited an amusement park Sunday and told a friend that her baby was in the care of someone else.
Child Protective Services says the mother completed parenting classes and therapy in a neglect investigation involving her three sons.
The other two boys were placed with CPS after the death.
