ARLINGTON (March 14, 2014) Mark Jason Stroface, 41, and Carla Rae Seals, 42, were jailed Friday in Arlington, charged with theft over $200,000 in connection with the theft of about $400,000 worth of gold and jeweled sorority pins from Delta Delta Delta.

Seals works at the sorority’s headquarters, police said.

The arrests stem from an investigation that started after Arlington police were notified on Feb. 27 that about 2,000 sorority pins were missing.

After members die, family members traditionally send the pins back to the sorority.

Some of the missing pins have been recovered.

Stroface and Seals were ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bonds.

A sorority statement said Seals was suspended without pay.

She’s not a Delta Delta Delta member, the statement said.
