BLOOMFIELD, N.M. (August 9, 2014) A Texas couple and their two children were killed in a head-on collision at around 9 p.m. Friday on U.S. 550 about 20 miles south of Bloomfield, N.M.
The victims were identified Saturday as Michael Miller, 47, of Argyle, Leann Miller, 48, and their two children, Zoey Miller, 12, and Miles Miller, 7.
Michael Miller was the only person using a seatbelt, authorities said.
They were southbound on the highway when a truck driven by Brian Lee, 24, crossed the center line and collided head-on with their van, authorities said.
All four died on impact.
Lee suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, authorities said.
