HOUSTON (September 30, 2012)--A 3-year-old Houston-area girl has died after she was hit as her father backed his truck out of the driveway at the family’s home Friday in northwest Harris County.
Officials say the girl evidently slipped out of the house and was wandering outside when the incident happened.
The father and a neighbor rushed the girl to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the girl's death appears to have been an accident.
