TYLER (October 11, 2012)—Darron Campbell, 51, of Tyler, was jailed Thursday without bond on an aggravated assault/family violence charge.
He’s accused of using a mower blade to slice his son's arm during an argument.
Tyler police say Campbell was working with his son, Kyan Campbell, 26, Wednesday when the pair got into a physical fight.
The father is accused of striking his son with a lawnmower blade, cutting the victim's arm.
The son was transported to a Tyler hospital for treatment.
Hospital officials had no record Thursday of the son still being at the facility.
Tyler police are trying to determine what led to the argument.
Online jail records did not list an attorney for the father.
