ARLINGTON (September 26, 2012)—David Matthew Merrill, 34, was jailed Wednesday, charged with murder in the shooting death of his father-in-law during a domestic disturbance at a home in Arlington.
Arlington police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard said officers were sent to the home Tuesday evening and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Richard said the victim died at an Arlington hospital.
Richard says the investigation was in its early stages Wednesday. The victim wasn't immediately identified.
