Texas Man Arrested After Online Threat To Kill Children

HOUSTON (October 4, 2012)—Patrick Joseph Hudson, 19, of Katy was jailed Thursday on charges of making a felony terroristic threat online messages were posted about shooting children at an elementary school.

Court documents examined by the Houston Chronicle show that Hudson wrote in an online forum about "killing a bunch of little kids" and then killing himself.

FBI agents were told about the posting in a tip from North Carolina and traced it back to Hudson's home in Katy.

The posting also asked for advice about streaming the killings live.

Records show Hudson acknowledged the postings to investigators who arrested and charged him Tuesday but that he insisted they were made in jest.
