Texas Man Arrested In Father’s Shooting Death

HOUSTON (November 19, 2012)--Authorities were trying to determine a motive Monday after a Houston-area shooting that left a 63-year-old man dead.

The man’s son is charged with murder in the deadly shooting.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says Dale Lee Baker died Sunday at a hospital several hours he was shot in the head at his home.

Jail records show Cory Dale Baker, 41, was held Monday in lieu of $50,000 bond.

He was arrested shortly after the shooting around 11 a.m. Sunday.

The sheriff's office says his mother called 911 to say the couple's son had shot his father.
