AUSTIN (January 11, 2013)--Police have arrested an Austin man who’s accused of leaving his 22-month-old daughter alone in a car and then forgetting where the vehicle was parked.
Patrick Husband, 27, was charged with endangering a child.
According to an arrest affidavit, he gave different accounts of what happened after he couldn't find the vehicle Tuesday evening, including claiming that the vehicle had been stolen.
Husband told authorities that he had as many as four drinks during the evening, police said.
Police found the car with the girl inside less than a block away from where Husband had claimed he had left it.
Husband remained jailed in lieu of $40,000 bond.
