EL PASO (July 23, 2012)--A two-vehicle crash in far West Texas left five people dead and a 23-year-old man jailed on intoxication manslaughter charges.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said Albert Coronado was held Monday in lieu of $1.5 million bond.
He was arrested after the deadly crash Sunday afternoon.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Angelica Becerra said Coronado is accused of running a stop sign.
His pickup truck hit a car in which two adults and three children were riding.
All five died.
Their names weren’t immediately released.
