Texas Man Charged In Hot-Car Death Of Daughter, 4

TYLER (July 10, 2014) Russel Lindstrom, 33 of Flint, was in the Smith County Jail Thursday charged with manslaughter and injury to a child after his two young daughters were found in a hot car and one of them later died.

Lindstrom's daughters were found unresponsive on June 11 in their family's pickup truck.

Bella Rose Lindstrom, 4, died at a hospital.

Zoey Lindstrom, 3, was treated and released.

Lindstrom said he put both girls down for a nap, but said the children later turned up missing, authorities said.

He said he believes the girls got into the cab and accidentally locked it, according to authorities.

Child Protective Services is investigating.

Lindstrom, who was arrested Wednesday, was ordered held in lieu of $200,000 bond.
