WACO (December 20, 2012)--A Fort Worth area man who was a suspect in a Lacy Lakeview credit union robbery pleaded guilty to bank robbery Thursday afternoon in Waco's federal court.

U.S. District Judge Walter S. Smith, Jr., set Bradley Kilmer, 33, of Fort Worth, for sentencing in February.

Kilmer was wanted for bank robbery in at least two states, including robberies at credit unions in Lacy Lakeview and Weatherford and a bank in Alvarado.

The Genco Federal Credit Union, at 1500 W. Loop 340, in Lacy Lakeview was robbed on Aug. 8 by a red-haired man who was wearing a green shirt and a TCU baseball cap.

He handed a note to a teller that said he would shoot her if he wasn’t given money and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Two days later a man with red hair who was wearing a green shirt and a TCU baseball cap robbed the First Financial Bank in Alvarado.

A third robbery was reported on Aug. 30 in Weatherford, where a man walked into the Fort Worth Community Credit Union branch at 1911 South Main St. and handed a note to a teller indicating he would harm her if she did not give him money.

Officers subsequently were able to locate clothing that the robber was wearing in the Alvarado and Lacy Lakeview robberies in Kilmer's personal effects at his residence in Rendon, a suburb of Fort Worth.
