BAYTOWN (August 29, 2012)--A Houston-area man suspected of raping a pizza delivery woman was arrested after he returned to a pizza shop from which he earlier stole food, police said.
Baytown police said alert employees recognized the man.
James Jackson, 20, of Baytown, was held Wednesday in the Harris County Jail, charged with aggravated sexual assault and aggravated robbery.
His bonds total $60,000.
Investigators say a Domino's Pizza woman was robbed and raped May 28 by a man who jumped into her vehicle.
She recognized him as a man who days earlier stole some wings from the business.
Employees called police on Sunday when Jackson showed up and tried to order more wings.
Jackson is also suspected in a June convenience store robbery, police said.
