STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (August 11, 2014) A Texas man was among the two people who died in a plane crash in the mountains of northern Colorado.

Terry Lynn Stewart, 60, of Houston, and William Earl Allen, 62, of Broomfield, Colo. died in the crash, Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg said.

Stewart was a flight student.

According to Allen's Facebook page, he was a Certified Flight Instructor at Journeys Aviation in Boulder, Colo.

The plane was headed to Boulder from Steamboat Springs on Saturday.

A search started after the aircraft was reported overdue.
