Texas Man Headed To Prison For Biting His Female Roommate

GALVESTON (November 19, 2012)—Jacques Quinn, 32, who was convicted of biting his female roommate during an argument, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Prosecutors in Galveston County alleged that Quinn was intoxicated at the time of the Jan. 18 incident in Hitchcock.

The Galveston County Daily News reported that jurors convicted Quinn of felony assault causing bodily injury in the family violence case.

Records show Quinn has more than a dozen convictions for assault, theft and drug possession.

Investigators say Quinn and his roommate were living with another woman when the couple got into an argument.

The victim was bitten on the arm.

Further details on her weren't immediately available.

The defense claimed someone slipped narcotics into Quinn's drink.
