CEDAR HILL (July 29, 2014) Scottey Davis, 48, was in the DeSoto Regional Jail Tuesday charged with aggravated assault after police say he drove his car into his home, leaving his wife trapped in the rubble.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Cedar Hill city spokesman Corky Brown said.
Firefighters had to free the unidentified woman, who from debris in a bathroom.
She was taken to a hospital.
Information about her injuries and condition was not immediately available.
The couple was arguing early Tuesday and the dispute escalated, Brown said.
Later Tuesday morning the car was still in the front yard, which was littered with bricks and other debris.
