FLORESVILLE (April 2, 2014) A Floresville ISD school bus driver has been disciplined for calling a sobbing student a "crybaby" and urging other children to chime in and mock the girl.
The Floresville Elementary School bus driver invited other students to chant "Cry, cry cry" at the upset girl, according to the onboard bus video and audio, which were obtained by San Antonio television station KSAT.
School district officials Wednesday did not immediately provide additional information on the recordings.
The name of the driver hasn't been released.
School officials didn't say why the student was crying at the time of the incident in March.
Floresville Independent School District Superintendent Sherri Bays said the bus driver's actions were not appropriate, but declined to say how the driver was disciplined.
