Texas Soldier Dies In Small Arms Attack In Afghanistan

WASHINGTON (October 1, 2012)—Army Sgt. 1st Class Riley G. Stephens, 39, of Tolar, died Friday in Wardak, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered in a small arms attack.

Other details weren’t provided.

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), based at Fort Bragg, N.C.
