Texas Teen Charged In Deadly Shooting At Party

CYPRESS (March 26, 2014) Randy Stewart, 18, is charged with murder in connection with a shooting during a party in November at a suburban home, Harris County authorities announced Wednesday.

Stewart, who remains in the Harris County Jail, was charged earlier with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.

His older brother, Marvin Stewart, also has been charged with tampering with evidence.

He's not in custody.

The murder charge stems from the shooting death of Queric Richardson, 17, who was one of two teens killed on Nov. 9, 2013, when shots were fired into the home during a birthday party in northwest Harris County.

Some 20 others were injured.

Investigators continue to review the death of Arielle Olivia Shepherd, 17, and have not identified a suspect in her killing.
