Texas Teen Sentenced For Role In Girl’s Kidnapping, Rape

CORPUS CHRISTI (July 1, 2014) A jury in Corpus Christi has sentenced Eric Dimick, 18, to 60 years in prison for helping to abduct an 11-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted and left on a beach.

Dimick was convicted of aggravated kidnapping on Friday.

The girl was kidnapped in 2012 as she rode her bicycle.

Two other men, both age 20, pleaded guilty last year and were sentenced to prison, as well.

Colton Visor, who pleaded guilty in December 2013 to aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault, was sentenced to 30 years.

Visor cooperated with the prosecution in Dimick's case.

In October 2013, Jacob Musich pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault and received a life prison term.

Investigators say Musich sexually assaulted the girl and his friends helped.
